Murlo

Murlo

The tiny medieval village of Murlo consists of several buildings in a single row of houses backing onto the town walls. From the 11C to the 18C it belonged to the Bishops of Siena. Today it is famous for the Etruscan archeological discoveries made in Poggio Civitate, not far from Vescovado (north of Murlo).
