Radda in Chianti

This medieval village, composed or a long line of houses used to be one of the three territories, with Castellina and Gaiole, in the Chianti League; Radda became the main town in the League in 1415. It has retained one side of its town walls and its 15C Town Hall, which is decorated inside the double-arched porch with a fresco painted by the Florentine School.
