Living in Tuscany means following the rhythm of a land that invites movement. Whether it's the hiss of the wheels on the legendary dirt roads of Cycle Tourism or the regular beating of your steps along the paths of Trekking and Nordic Walking, each route will reveal glimpses that no postcard can give you back. For those who love a challenge, the area offers the tactical elegance of Tennis and Padel, immersed in the silence of the hills, or the prestige of a perfect green for Golf, where every hole is an author's painting. And for those looking for an even deeper connection with nature, Horseback Riding will allow you to cross vineyards and woods with the nobility of yesteryear. It's not just sport: it's the most authentic way to challenge your limits and discover the wild beauty of the Val d'Elsa.

On the trail of history

Walking in San Gimignano means retracing the steps of pilgrims along the Via Francigena, experiencing the thrill of one of the most iconic and spectacular stages of this ancient journey. Walking along the thousand-year-old paths that connect the towers of the city to the walls of Monteriggioni, you find yourself immersed in a natural mosaic made up of oak woods and endless rows of vineyards. Whether you choose the meditative pace of trekking or the technical movement of Nordic Walking, this experience offers the rare privilege of truly feeling the ground under your feet, transforming a simple walk into a silent and rejuvenating dialogue with the Tuscan landscape.

Tuscany is the land of heroic cycling and dirt roads

Cycling through the hills of San Gimignano means immersing yourself in a landscape that seems designed for those who love cycling. Thanks to the technology of the E-Bike, even the most challenging slopes become a pleasure accessible to all, allowing you to reach legendary villages such as Certaldo or Volterra along scenic dirt roads that wind through the silence of the countryside. For those who prefer road cycling, the asphalt turns into a sinuous ribbon with little traffic, where perfect curves and iconic climbs offer cyclists of all levels the pure joy of moving to the rhythm of nature, surrounded by horizons that leave you breathless with every pedal stroke.

Tennis and Padel in the hills

For those who do not give up the competitive challenge even on vacation.

The territory offers excellent opportunities to take the field. Between San Gimignano and the nearby towns of Poggibonsi and Colle di Val d'Elsa, fans can count on welcoming clubs equipped with red clay or synthetic courts, perfect for an afternoon match immersed in the quiet of Tuscany. There is also no shortage of modern Padel courts, the discipline of the moment, which allow you to challenge each other in a dynamic and professional context just a few minutes from our facilities, combining the well-being of movement with the charm of an unparalleled landscape setting.

The art of Green

For lovers of precision and silence, the area offers an international gaming experience just twenty minutes from San Gimignano. The Castelfalfi Golf Club is in fact one of the most spectacular and stimulating destinations in the entire peninsula, thanks to a masterful design that integrates 27 holes in the natural harmony of the Tuscan landscape. Divided into two routes that follow the gentle slopes and challenges of the terrain, this course allows you to experience a day of high-level sport immersed in breathtaking scenery, where each shot is accompanied by the infinite beauty of the horizons that surround the village.

It was quiet and we slept really well! The breakfast was wonderful! We were happy to find an extra blanket in the closet, shampoo and conditioner.

Great hotel!

It's a great hotel. Perfect balance in many respects. It's just outside the old town gate, no more than a 5 minute walk. So it's away from the noise and crowds. But easy to get in, several times.
